Prior to starting at NUS, Brian was a Senior Research Fellow in Moral Psychology in the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford, where he co-founded and co-directed the Oxford Experimental Bioethics (BioXPhi) Lab. Assoc. Prof. Earp holds a PhD in philosophy and psychology from Yale University, earned under the supervision of Professors Molly Crockett (psychology) and Joshua Knobe (philosophy). Brian also holds an MSc from Oxford in psychological research methods and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge in history and philosophy of science.
